Fifteen years across big tech, Swiss industries and venture-backed startups. I've built products used by millions, founded and exited companies, and led teams across four countries. Today I'm CPTO & Partner at thirty3 and co-initiator of AI Hub Switzerland. I believe AI can do a great deal of good when it's built with care, and I work with organisations that want to use it that way.
I'm an engineer at heart and still hands-on in product, architecture and code. What drives me is making sure the technology we build is genuinely useful, and that its impact on people, society and the environment is something we can stand behind.
What I believe
AI is changing work, education, health and the planet we share. Many people are excited by that, and many are afraid, and both reactions are fair. I believe the way we build and use AI matters as much as what it can do. I want to help organisations use AI in ways that create positive impact, are responsible and sustainable, and avoid harm to the people and the environment around us.

Fifteen years building, leading and advising on AI.
Built recommendation logic for Alexa at Amazon Lab126, routing voice queries to relevant help content at global scale. Took cloud and big data into Switzerland's largest banks: UBS, Credit Suisse and Julius Baer. Founded and exited Anamii, personally building the recommendation-led wellness platform alongside a tiny team and growing it to 3,000+ users during COVID. Today, Co-founder, CPTO & Partner at thirty3, shaping AI products and leading delivery for clients from venture-backed startups and scale-ups to unicorns, SMEs and global corporates. The work starts with customer and business needs, then moves through product direction, prioritisation and a first useful release before the build.
Three companies founded. 100+ people led across engineering, design and AI teams in Switzerland, India, Poland and the US, from Amazon and Anamii to Vicara and thirty3. 55+ AI products shipped across 10+ industries. A U.S. citizen of Indian heritage based in Zürich, with a UCLA MSc in data science and machine learning, and a multicultural lens on how AI teams actually get built. From Alexa-scale customer-serving systems at Amazon Lab126 to Swiss-bank cloud transformations, fifteen years designing, reviewing and rebuilding production platforms that have to work under real load. I've also served on the boards of thirty3, Anamii and Vicara.

We bring together business, academia and the public sector, including ZHAW, SwissMem, ETH Zürich, Kanton Zürich and Technopark, to provide trusted expertise, neutral coordination and long-term capability building, strengthening competitiveness, workforce readiness and digital sovereignty.

The shifts I'm watching, and what they mean for leaders deciding how AI changes what they build, sell and operate.
P/01
AI is shifting value from selling software to delivering outcomes. The durable layer is owning the workflow, not the model.
P/02
As model costs collapse, thin wrappers die. What survives is deep integration into a real workflow and the messy edges only operators understand.
P/03
Agent-speed workloads strain systems built for human speed. Treating AI as a UI layer underestimates the rebuild underneath.
P/04
AI lets expertise be packaged and scaled like software. The winners design the human-plus-machine split on purpose.
P/05
Models cost energy and water, and if the gains go only to those already ahead, AI widens the gap it could close. Building for efficiency, access and inclusion isn't a side conversation. It's the point.
